Function

Displays the character sequence of all supported servers.

Syntax

SHOW COLLATION [LIKE 'pattern' | WHERE expr]

Parameter Description

  • WHERE expr

    Filters expressions.

  • LIKE 'pattern'

    Indicates that the pattern regular expression matches the collation name.

Return Result Set

collationIndicates the collation set name.
charsetIndicates the character set associated with collation set.
idIndicates character set description.The column corresponds to the OID of the row in the pg_collation table.
defaultIndicates whether the collation set corresponds to the character set.openGauss does not have a default collation order. This column is left empty.
compiledIndicates whether the collation set is compiled.The value of this column is Yes.
sortlenIndicates the memory size required for character set collation.This column is empty.
