Function ​

Acts as the coordinator and facilitator in the data-at-execution transfer process, managing the synchronization and control flow for large-volume data exchanges between the application and the database driver.

Parameter Description

StatementHandle

Statement handle.

ValuePtrPtr

Pointer to a buffer, used to return the parameter identifier. When the function returns SQL_NEED_DATA, this parameter returns a pointer to the parameter value.

Return Values ​

  • SQL_SUCCESS: The call is successful.

  • SQL_SUCCESS_WITH_INFO: Some warning information is present.

  • SQL_ERROR: An error occurred.

  • SQL_INVALID_HANDLE: The input statement handle is invalid.

  • SQL_NEED_DATA: Data needs to be sent for a parameter.
